The weakest link in any cable lift is the cable itself. The No Profile Boat Lift has no drum, drive pipe winder or spool, so the entire length of stainless steel cable is under constant tension. Our cables never contact or wrap on top of each other so cable fatigue is greatly reduced. All bearings used in our system do not require lubrication.

Typical lift companies mount their motors up in the air spoiling waterfront vistas. In harsh saltwater and salt air conditions, exposed motors will corrode and fail much sooner than our epoxy coated motors in their own protective housing.

We have designed the "Pump/Motor" assembly for maximum survivability and supportability by incorporating a "quick disconnect" feature for the electrical as well as the hydraulic connection. The "Pump/Motor" assemblies, (port and starboard) can be removed/replaced in under 5 minutes.

The boat doesn't have to be removed in order to remove the motors but in the event of a severe storm, you should move your boat and store it until the storm passes. The rest of the mechanics of the No Profile Lift will not be damaged if submerged.

In the event of an electrical control box failure, the service technician simply exchanges (quick disconnects) the box. The Lift is again operational while the "retrograde" is repaired at our factory. This will keep down time to a minimum.

Here are a few more features of the No Profile system that differentiate us from the rest:

	Each hydraulic cylinder is custom made specifically for Way Marine Design.
	Each hydraulic cylinder has an application of a marine grade epoxy for further protection.
	When the lift is in the "Up" (store position), the hydraulic rod is fully retracted within the cylinder. This ensures that the shaft is protected from the environment.
	Our Cable Handling Unit (CHU) is a proprietary extrusion of 6061 T-6 Marine Grade Aluminum. This structural component also protects our entire rigging system and seals away all moving parts for ultimate safety.
	The No Profile Boat Lift utilizes a Chevron Clarity biodegradable hydraulic fluid.
	All lifts come with a dockside control box for the wireless remote control. The control box is utilizes "plug and play" connectors for easy installation and storm preparation removal. (see owners manual)
